WordPress care plans

Website maintenance that catches problems before your customers do

TechZone Services provides website maintenance services for WordPress and WooCommerce sites, covering tested updates, off-site backups, security and uptime monitoring, speed checks and small fixes. Each plan is scoped to your site, so a five-page brochure site and a busy online store each get the level of care they actually need.

Ongoing WordPress support

Maintenance is the work nobody notices until it stops

A WordPress site depends on core software, a theme, plugins, PHP and hosting, and each one changes on its own schedule. Our WordPress maintenance services keep all of them current and working together, as part of our web development service. Some changes need planning: PHP 8.2, for example, stops receiving security fixes on December 31, 2026, so sites still running it need a tested upgrade soon.

No single plan fits every website, so yours is set by the site itself: how many plugins it runs, whether it takes orders every day, how much custom code it has, how often content changes and how quickly you need a response. The written scope states update frequency, backup schedule and retention, how often restores are tested, monitoring, response times, included hours for changes and whether malware cleanup is covered.

Our WordPress support services often continue straight after a build. For Rohians Cargo and Transport, a Dubai logistics company whose WordPress site we designed and built, we continue to handle updates as the business grows, alongside weekly local SEO. If you prefer to run maintenance in-house, our WordPress maintenance checklist sets out the full weekly, monthly and yearly schedule.

Challenges we solve

Signs your website needs a maintenance plan

Most website emergencies start as small, routine tasks that nobody owned.

Updates nobody dares to run

Plugin and theme updates pile up because the last one broke something. Meanwhile outdated software and guessed passwords are among the most common ways WordPress sites are attacked, so waiting carries its own risk.

Backups that were never tested

Your host says backups exist, but they may sit on the same server, be kept for only a few days and never have been restored. Most owners only find this out in the middle of an emergency.

Problems customers find first

A contact form quietly stops sending, checkout fails after an update or the site goes down overnight. You hear about it from a frustrated customer, or not at all, after a week of lost inquiries.

Accounts in the wrong hands

The domain renews on a former employee’s card, hosting sits in a freelancer’s name and admin logins were shared by email. One expired domain or SSL certificate can take the whole site offline.

Our approach

How we look after your website

Every plan starts with an onboarding audit of your WordPress version, plugins, hosting, backups, security settings, speed and account ownership. We fix anything urgent first, such as abandoned plugins, missing off-site backups or shared admin logins. From then on the routine runs on a fixed schedule: updates tested on staging, backups stored away from the server, restores rehearsed, alerts watched, small requests handled and a plain-English report sent to you each month.

What's included

What's included in our website maintenance services

The mix and frequency of each task is set in your written scope, based on how your site is built and used.

Staging-tested updates

We apply core, theme and plugin updates on a set schedule, test major versions and PHP upgrades on a staging copy first, then check key pages, forms and checkout on the live site afterwards.

Backups and restore tests

We back up your database and files together to off-site storage, on a schedule matched to how often your site changes, and restore a recent backup to staging at agreed intervals to prove it works.

Security monitoring

We scan for malware and plugin vulnerabilities, alert on new administrator accounts and bursts of failed logins, add two-factor login for admins, since WordPress core does not include it, and remove users who no longer need access.

Uptime and form checks

Uptime monitoring alerts us when the site stops responding. We also submit your forms and place test orders on a regular schedule, so broken email delivery or a failing checkout is caught quickly.

Speed and Search Console checks

Each month we review key templates in PageSpeed Insights, check Search Console for indexing errors, security issues and Core Web Vitals problems, fix broken internal links and clean up the database when it grows.

Fixes, edits and monthly reports

Your plan includes a set amount of time for text and image updates, new pages and small fixes, plus a monthly report listing updates applied, backups completed, incidents, speed results and what we recommend next.

Why it matters

Why businesses trust TechZone with their websites

01

Updates without the gamble

Because risky updates are tested on a staging copy first, a plugin conflict breaks a private test site rather than your live one. You keep the security benefits of staying current without the fear of a broken homepage.

02

Recovery you have rehearsed

Regular restore tests mean we know your backups work and roughly how long a full restore takes. If something does go wrong, recovery follows a tested routine instead of guesswork under pressure.

03

Everything stays in your name

Your domain, hosting, WordPress admin, plugin licenses, Search Console and analytics stay under your ownership. TechZone works through access you can remove at any time, and we record renewal dates so nothing expires unnoticed.

04

One contact who knows your site

You deal with one named person who knows how your site is built. Send requests by email or WhatsApp, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 PKT, and get regular updates on anything in progress.

FAQ

Questions we often hear

Can’t find what you’re looking for? Send us a message and we’ll answer it directly.

A typical plan covers core, theme and plugin updates, off-site backups with restore tests, uptime and security monitoring, form and checkout checks, speed and Search Console reviews, a set amount of time for edits and a monthly report. Larger work such as redesigns or new features is quoted separately, and the written scope states whether malware cleanup is included.

Maintenance plans start from $50/month. Cost follows scope: a simple brochure site with few plugins needs less work than a WooCommerce store with custom code, daily orders and frequent content changes. Backup frequency, how often restores are tested, response times and included hours for edits also shape the plan. We confirm the price after the onboarding audit, so it reflects your actual site. See our pricing.

Yes. Many sites that need maintenance were built by someone else, so we start with an onboarding audit that shows how the site is put together and flags risks such as abandoned plugins, a theme edited without a child theme or missing licenses. We fix those first and tell you plainly if a problem is serious enough to justify a rebuild through our WordPress development service.

We contain the site, take a snapshot, find how the attacker got in, then clean it or restore a backup from before the infection and close the weakness. If Google shows a warning, we request a review in Search Console, which Google says can take days to weeks. Our hacked site recovery guide explains each step.

Security is mostly routine: prompt tested updates, strong unique passwords, two-factor login for every administrator, fewer plugins, regular user audits, malware scanning and off-site backups. We also watch for new admin accounts and unusual login activity. Our WordPress security checklist lists the full set of steps we work through during onboarding.

Our maintenance plans are built around WordPress and WooCommerce. Shopify handles hosting, security and platform updates itself, so ongoing Shopify work is usually theme changes, apps and catalog management, which we scope through our Shopify development service. For other platforms, tell us what you run and we will say honestly whether we can help.
